Let me start with a big, warm Thank You to all those who have made this website possible. In our efforts to build a world based on respect for human rights, communications between peoples is of supreme importance. We have to join forces to ensure peace, justice and prosperity for all. I hope that this website will facilitate the exchange of ideas and opinions and help to create a better understanding of the challenges that Burma is facing. Together, we can take on the most difficult challenges and progress from strength to strength. Together, we can create the kind of world we want. May this, my 66th birthday, be the beginning of happier times for all of us.
